From the 1 April 2012 when you qualify for a bus pass you will need to make your application directly with Oxfordshire County Council.
To apply online (form 1 April 2012) and for more information please visit the Oxfordshire County Council website.
If you have a current pass it will still be valid and you will automatically be reissued with a new pass by Oxfordshire County Council when your current one expires. You will not have to reapply because of this change from District to County administrative control.
On Thursday 22 March 2012 Oxford City Council will take the final free bus pass applications from customers.
From Friday 23 March 2012 to 1 April 2012 customers can pick up a County Council application form from our Customer Service Centres:
Completed County Council application forms will ONLY be accepted by Oxfordshire County Council from 1 April 2012 .
You will be able to apply in several ways:
If you don't have access to a computer, you will be able to apply online from selected libraries and Oxfordshire County Council building receptions where staff will be able to help you if you get stuck or are unsure of what to do.
