Year of the Goat 2015 Chinese New Year Gala Concert

The traditional celebration of Chinese New Year starts from a dazzling gathering at the Oxford Town Hall. Highlighting the finest winter spirits, OXCSSA presents the one in a lifetime chance to celebrate the most significant event on the Chinese Lunar calendar here in Oxford.

This event consists of several of the best Chinese traditional folk dance and musical entertainments, popular Mandarin Pop songs, and amusing cross talks performed by students from the university. Most importantly, they proudly present Mr. Zhang Jinlai, better known by his stage name Liu Xiao Ling Tong, the actor of the Monkey King in the most celebrated Chinese novel Journey to the West.
