We have a statutory duty to maintain and update the Council's Local Land Charges register. This enables us to provide an efficient response to search requests. We also provide replies to the CON29(R) Required Enquiries of the Local Authority (2007 edition) and CON29(O) Optional Enquiries of the Local Authority (2007 edition) forms.
Our aims are as follows:

- to respond to all standard searches within 5 working days of validation
- to deal with correspondence within 10 working days
- to actively seek ways of improving the quality of our service
