The Local Development Scheme (LDS) is one component of the Local Development Framework.
It provides the starting point for the local community to find out what our current planning policies are for Oxford.
It has a programme for the preparation of Local Development Documents (LDDs) to replace the Oxford Local Plan policies over the next few years.
The LDS 2011-2014 was approved at City Executive Board on 21 September 2011. It was then submitted to the Secretary of State and has now come into effect.
