Fairy Tales on Ice, the 2013 Christmas Ice Show, will take place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December 2013 at Oxford Ice Rink.
The show is a popular part of the city's Christmas calendar and this year features international, national and local skating champions plus a hundred local skaters.
This year's show promises to be the best ever and be sure to get everyone in the mood for Christmas.
The star studded cast includes:
2010 British champion who has represented Great Britain at both European and World championships.
Josh Whidbourne and Charlotte Aiken
Josh (24) and Charlotte (21) were the 2012 British Silver medallists. They are members of Team GB and the British Olympic team ambition programme for Sochi 2014. Charlotte and Josh teamed up after each had previously won the British Solo Ice Dance championships. Oxford is Josh’s home rink.
Mina Zdravkova and Henry Aiken
They have competed all over Europe and even just recently in Mexico City. Mina is from Bulgaria and has been based all over the world including Madrid and the USA. All this and she is only 14!
1999 British Ladies Champion and has competed for Great Britain in European and World Championships. After a career as principal performer in the world famous Hot Ice show, Tammy returned to Oxford Ice Rink as a coach. Tammy Sear-Watkins started her skating career at Oxford Ice Rink at the age of 8.
Competes regularly nationally at senior level and has represented Brazil. She is now training for the British Championships next season
Professional show skater, Charlotte has performed in the world's leading ice entertainment show 'Holiday on Ice', where she performed in more than 200 shows across six European Countries. She represented England in the Home Countries International Final 2008 and 2009. Charlotte began skating at Oxford Ice Rink, age 10.
Leticia Marsh & Elliot Crook
Oxford ice dance partners Leticia Marsh (12 years old) and Elliot Crook (15 years old) have just made their debut at the British Figure Skating Championships 2013 representing Oxford in the Advanced Novice Dance category. Leticia and Elliot have made rapid progress and now feature in the National Rankings as one of the youngest ice dance couples competing at this level.
Marvin the Penguin
Marvin only took up ice skating a year ago, he took to the ice like a duck to water and has not looked back since. He is now at a secret training camp in Russia to prepare for his performance at the Gala. He performs best when rewarded with fish or chocolate. Marvin hopes to get a late call up to the GB Winter Olympic team.
Local skaters from Oxford Ice Rink
A 100 talented local skaters from Oxford Junior Figure Club and the Oxford Ice Rink learn to skate courses will also be taking part in the gala.
The show is produced by Oxford Ice Rink and local skate coaches Jane de Lange, Sue Hands and Alison Morrell with great help from coaches, supporters and local skaters and their families.
John Harris, General Manager of the Rink, says: "This year's show should be the best ever; in addition to some great international quality skaters we have a hundred of our own skaters and even Marvin the Penguin taking part.
"The coaches, Ice Rink team, skaters and families have put a lot of work into making this show one of the premier Christmas events in the city and I would encourage everyone to come to the show and get in the Christmas spirit."
Councillor Mike Rowley, Board Member for Leisure Services, says: "This should be a great event with some of Britain's biggest ice skating stars. It is an ideal way to get into the Christmas holiday mood."

Performances will be held twice a day at 3pm and 6pm.
