Office Opening Hours:

Council offices will be closed from 4:30pm on Friday 21 December 2012 and will re-open at 9am on Monday 31 December 2012. Offices will close again for New Year's Day and will re-open again at 9am on Wednesday 2 January 2013.

Recycling and Waste Collections

Collection days over the Christmas and New Year period will be different to normal. The changes are set out below:

Please note: Garden waste collections will be suspended from 21 December 2012 to 5 January 2013. Collections will resume on 7 January 2013. Bulky waste collections and bin deliveries will also be suspended during this period.

Many services will still be running through the festive period. 

Our emergency out of hours number is 01865 249811. It will be running throughout the Christmas period and can help with a variety of emergency issues.

Leisure Centres, Swimming Pools and Ice Rink

Car Parks

All of our car parks will be in full operation over the Christmas and New year period, with the exception of Gloucester Green car park which will be closed on Christmas day, and will also open at 10am on New Year's day.

We will not charge for parking in any of our car parks on 25 December 2012, however, payments made in error will not be refunded. Our normal charges will recommence on 26 December 2012.

Oxford Covered Market Opening Hours

The Covered Market will be closed on 25th and 26th December 2012 and on 1st January 2013.

The standard opening hours continue to apply at other times:

• 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Saturday
• 10am - 4pm on Sunday

Parks

Oxford's parks will also be open during the Christmas period.
