Office Opening Hours:

Council offices will be closed from 4:30pm on Friday 23 December 2011 and will re-open at 9am on Tuesday 3 January 2012.

Recycling and Waste Collections

Your household recycling and waste collections will operate as normal over the Christmas and New Year period. Visit our Collection days page to find out your collection day and what bins to put out.

Many services will still be running through the festive period. 

Our emergency out of hours number is 01865 249811. It will be running throughout the Christmas period and can help with a variety of emergency issues.

Car Parks

Our car parks will all be open during the festive season with the exception of Gloucester Green Underground car park which is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. You can contact the service on 01865 252489.

Park and Ride

Park and ride sites will be open as usual when the bus services are running over Christmas. Oxford Bus Company have produced a leaflet with details of changes to the Park and Ride bus services over Christmas and new year. Please contact them if you have any queries.

Oxford Covered Market

The opening hours for Oxford Covered Market over the Christmas and New Year period are as follows:

• 24 December 2011 - open as normal
• 25-27 December 2011 - closed
• 28-31 December 2011 - open as normal
• 1-2 January 2012 - closed
• 3 January 2012 onwards - normal opening hours

Parks

Oxford's parks will also be open during the Christmas period.
