Christmas Arts and Crafts Markets in Oxford - 18 December 2011
If you are still looking for unique Christmas presents, then visit the Christmas Arts and Crafts market in Oxford on Sunday 18 December 2011.
The market is an opportunity for local artists and people to showcase and sell their original work to the public.
It is supported by the Oxfordshire Arts Partnership which is made up of all the District Councils and Oxfordshire County Council.
The Partnership's mission is to support local creative talent and provide opportunities for makers and artists to promote and sell their work directly to the public.
The market, in Broad Street, offers a wide range of one-off pieces, including jewellery, paintings, cards, textiles and much more.
There will be 20 stalls selling a wide range of arts and crafts and the artists and makers will be on hand to talk about their work, help the public pick out that unique present and even take commissions for bespoke items if required.
The market is managed on the partnership’s behalf by Steve Boffy, an experienced arts consultant with a range of experience in developing and producing markets around the region.
