To get an interview with a councillor or a council employee for radio or television you should call the Communications Office.

Where can I find out what services Oxford City Council is responsible for?

Oxfordshire has a two-tier system of local government. This means that your council services are provided by two different councils. We (Oxford City Council) run services such as planning, leisure and waste collection, while Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for running services such as libraries, schools and social care.

Can I add my event to the Council's Events Calendar?

Yes you can. Visit our Events Calendar page and use the 'Submit your Event' link to get your event on our local events calendar.

Where can I get information about organising my own event?

If you are looking to hold your own event within one of the city's parks or open spaces, you must apply to our Events Officer. Visit our Organising an Event page for full details.

How to I get a publication or leaflet translated?

We provide our leaflets and publications in other formats on request. Please contact the relevant department directly via our switchboard which can be contacted on 01865 249811.

We also have direct access to Language Line to help our front line staff and our customers to communicate information. We also attend home visits.

Where can I get the Oxford City Council logo for my website or publication?

It is very important to look after our corporate identity. Any requests for the council's logo must be made to our Corporate Communications Officer who can be contacted on 01865 252735.
