Supporting People Scheme

Supporting People is a programme which pays for housing-related support services. It is run by Oxfordshire County Council in partnership with us, the local Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and the National Probation Service Thames Valley.

It enables adults who need housing related support to live independently in the community. The Supporting People programme pays for various services, for instance:

• those provided to people who live in supported and sheltered housing
• community alarm systems
• floating support provided to people wherever they live.
