Our buildings that are open to the public have good levels of accessibility.
Where possible we have added ramps and automatic doors. Loop systems have been installed in reception areas and where toilets are available, these will be accessible.
Oxford Town Hall
The Town Hall has automatic doors on a separate accessible entrance towards the top of St Aldate's.
There are two accessible toilets on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The rear section, which contains a cafe and gallery, can be reached by platform lift. The Main Hall and meeting rooms are reached by a large passenger lift.
The Main Hall, St Aldate's Meeting Room, The Assembly Room and the Old Library have hearing loop systems, as does the Reception Desk.
Visit our Oxford Town Hall pages for full details.
St Aldate's Chambers
Our Customer Service Centre is based at St Aldate's Chambers. Doors are automatic at the entrance level. There is a portable loop system available for the meeting room and booths. There are no toilet facilities available but the facilities in the Town Hall, across the road, can be used.
