Blue Badge Parking Scheme
The national Blue Badge scheme provides a range of parking benefits for disabled people who travel either as drivers or as passengers. The scheme operates throughout the UK.

Disabled visitors to the UK are not eligible for Blue Badges, however any parking permit badge issued from your country of origin will be recognized.
Other disabled parking spaces
Further disabled parking is available in central car parks but this must be paid for:
- Westgate car park- Free if using the Shopmobility Scheme
- Worcester Street car park - small pay and display car park
- Gloucester Green car park - underground car park not accessible to wheelchair users.
