What are skills levels like in Oxford?
Oxford is, in general, a well-educated city- in 2008 an estimated 41% of the population was qualified to NVQ Level 4 or equivalent compared to a GB average of 29%. Latest figures on qualifications

What is educational attainment like in Oxford?
The attainment levels of Oxford pupils are relatively poor compared to other areas in the country. In 2008/09, 44% of Oxford pupils gained 5 A*-C grades at GCSE (including English and Maths), compared to an England average of 51%. Attainment levels at primary school are also relatively poor.
