Oxfordshire County Council offer support to people in caring roles. Visit the Carers pages of their website for information about caring for someone.

Carers Oxfordshire

Carers Oxfordshire is a service provided by Oxfordshire County Council with Age UK Oxfordshire. Visit the Carers Oxfordshire website.

Emergency Carers Support Service

The Emergency Carers Support Service is for people who provide unpaid care for adults who depend upon them because of illness, disability or frailty. The Service is provide by A4e on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council. The service provides support in emergency situations and offers:

  • professional and confidential emergency support over the telephone to all carers
  • information about services and resources to all carers
  • support for you when you have an urgent appointment for yourself or an emergency situation. You will need to be registered to apply for this
