Anti social behaviour is defined as;
CANAcT are the Crime And Nuisance Action Team who were formed in 2001 in the light of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, with a specific remit to address issues of anti social behaviour within the community.

We also helped to develop the Positive Activities for Young People programme.
We have achieved successes in enforcement, including Anti-social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs), Anti-social Behaviour Injunctions (ASBIs) and Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABCs), and also contributed to possession actions working with housing providers.
We recognise that enforcement action is not always the best course of action, and that other solutions, through early intervention, are often the most effective.
